African swallow no. 3

A beautiful and increasingly rare comb from Africa in the shape of a swallow. Made from ebony and dating to the mid - early 20th century, these are lovely decorative items. 

A more unusual larger curved design.

Simple carved details and a bead for an eye. Brown-black ebony wood. 

Vintage condition, there have been holes drilled in the centre to hang.

17cm long x 6cm high.
